Privacy Policy
Effective: 30 September 2026
In short: the apps covered by this policy do not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Benjamin PaapNiendorfer Straße 123
23560 Lübeck
Germany
Email: info@paap.one
2. Scope
This policy applies to this website (apps.paap.one) and to the following apps:
- Tweply
- Tweply is not distributed through the App Store; you download it directly from tweply.paap.one. It is signed with my Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
- Your templates, settings and counters are stored only locally on your Mac (in ~/Library/Application Support/Tweply). The clipboard history is kept in memory only, unless you turn on “Preserve history between sessions”; anything copied in an app you excluded is never recorded. None of this is ever sent to me or to any third party.
- To paste for you, Tweply needs the macOS permission “Accessibility”. It uses it only to send ⌘V to the app you were working in.
- If “Check for updates automatically” is on (the default), Tweply downloads the small file tweply.paap.one/version.json to see whether a newer version exists. Like any web request, this transmits your IP address to the server; no other data and no identifier is sent. You can turn the check off in Tweply's settings.
- Remote Control
- Your iPhone or iPad connects directly to your Mac over your local network or peer-to-peer Wi-Fi. Pointer and keyboard input, the screen picture and the list of open apps are exchanged only between your own devices and are never sent to me or to any third party.
- The Mac app needs the macOS permissions “Accessibility” (to move the pointer, click and type on your behalf) and “Screen & System Audio Recording” (to show the Mac’s screen on your iPhone). The screen is captured only while you view it on a paired device, it is never recorded or stored, and screen viewing can be turned off completely. No audio is captured.
- To recognise devices you have paired, the Mac stores a random device identifier and the device name locally. “Forget Paired Devices” in the Mac app deletes them. Settings are stored locally on each device.
- Nightbow
- Player names, the archer each player picked and your match settings are stored only locally on your Apple TV or Mac, so the game remembers them next time. Deleting the app deletes them.
- The app asks for local network access only for the phone controller: your Apple TV or Mac then serves a small controller web page on your home network. That page stores your player name, archer and a random ID in your phone browser's local storage so you get your spot back if the connection drops. This data is exchanged only between your phone and your Apple TV or Mac and never leaves your network. You can delete it by clearing your browser's website data.
- Nightbow has no online features: all players are in the same room.
My web apps run on their own websites with their own privacy policies, which apply instead of this one: Ravly, Turnierplan.
3. Data collected by the apps
The apps do not collect any personal data. In particular, the apps:
- do not require or offer user accounts,
- do not contain analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs,
- do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies,
- do not transmit any content you create or any usage information to me or to third parties.
Any data you enter in an app is stored only locally on your device. If you have enabled iCloud backups, Apple may include this data in your device backup; that processing is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. Deleting the app removes its local data from your device.
In line with this, the App Store privacy label of each app on the App Store states “Data Not Collected”.
4. Apple App Store
Apps available on the App Store are distributed through Apple’s App Store. When you download an app or make a purchase, Apple processes data such as your Apple Account and payment information as an independent controller. I have no access to this data. Apple provides me with aggregated, anonymous statistics (for example, download numbers) and – only if you have agreed to share it with developers in your device settings – anonymous crash reports. These do not allow me to identify you. Please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy for details.
5. This website
This website is a static site. It uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking, and loads no content (such as fonts or scripts) from third-party servers.
When you visit the site, your browser necessarily transmits technical data (such as your IP address, the requested page, and your browser’s user agent) to the web server so the page can be delivered. This data is processed only for that purpose and is not written to access logs. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest lies in delivering the website securely and reliably.
6. Contacting me
If you contact me by email, I process your email address, the content of your message and any other information you provide in order to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to the use of an app, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I delete these emails once your request has been fully resolved, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data I hold about you (Art. 15),
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16),
- have your data erased (Art. 17),
- restrict processing (Art. 18),
- data portability (Art. 20),
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21).
To exercise these rights, simply email info@paap.one.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for me is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany – www.datenschutzzentrum.de.
8. Children
Since the apps do not collect any personal data, they also do not collect data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy, for example when an app gains new features. The current version is always available on this page, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
